With a special gratitude to youth on the occasion of 16th International Youth day ,Leo/Lions club of Kathmandu samakhusi organized a sanitation and cleanliness program here at samakhusi. The program was assisted by the students of two schools : Navajeevan education academy and Takshashila Academy. The materials required for the program sucha as gloves ,masks and rucksacks were provided by clean up Nepal.
The program was started by the short description of youth and what youth can do for the betterment of a nation. Students were so glad to be a part of change maker. According to the organizer ,The program was designed to motivate youth and satire ironically to the adults who are residing within the samakhusi area.
The program was disturbed by climatic condition that it started raining after some minutes of program. But students were told little about the motto.
Similarly the club had organized Arati herdai fellowship this bygone Monday that more number of Leos had participated. The program was an initiation of preserving of our cultural heritages and respect to its values.
And finally it is all about the activities that were conducted by Leo club of Kathmandu samakhusi this week.
It was successful in presence of Leo Ashish Rijal IPP (immediate past president) of Leo club samakhusi and currrent president Leo Sunil Phuyal. There were other members from the club and other club representatives. Students were coached by Leo Krishna Pant ,General secretary of the club.
